The reality of van life is not what you see on Instagram. Yes, we've had some incredible highs while living in a van but we've also been met with some very uncomfortable lows. This week we share what happens in between... just a very normal few days of full-time van life.
Meanwhile, we are pursuing the new adventure we've been dreaming and saving for since we first met 8 years ago. We've always envisioned moving into the woods by the lake and building our dream tiny cabin as a home base for us to come back to in between our international travels. We cannot wait to have a place to call our own!! We are SO close to moving into a cabin in the woods but still have a few hoops to jump through to make this dream a reality!

For nearly a full year now we have not missed a single Sunday of uploading to this channel at exactly 9AM EST and while that's a great time for us over here in Eastern Canada we started to wonder if uploading a little later in the day would be better for our West Coast friends. The best with those kinds of pans is to de glaze them while they're hot. Pouring some water when you're done and bring to a simmer/boil and everything scrapes right up. I tend to pour in a little bit of stock at towards the end of what im cooking and it scrapes up all the bits of flavor and soaks into the food 😊

Hi guys! If you ever get the chance take the 1000 Island cruise to the Boldt Castle (you need your passport). It is absolutely stunning and they are, to this day, renovating it. It has an incredible story behind it and you can spend a few hours there. Eamon - are apples the only thing that makes your mouth tingle when you eat them? The same thing happens to me however simply cutting them does not make it any better. There are many other fruits and vegetables that do the same thing. After having tests done an allergist I was diagnosed with oral allergy syndrome. It's basically an allergy to certain pollens that are within fruits. Most tree fruits I can no longer eat unless they are cooked or blanched. If you're having problems with apples or other fruits or vegetables definitely look into oral allergy syndrome.

Fabs you were in Kingston! I spent 5 years there during my undergrad at Queen's. Lot's of fun things to explore in K-town and around, and you hit one of them: Wolfe Island! But I gotta say, you just oozed the Toronto when put quotes around "CITY" when talking about Kingston.

Seen your most recent videos; now going though the catalog. You obviously like to travel so looking at your situation now you might want to think about going into renovations. Buy a home every year in different locations around the world. Renovate it over a year and then lease it out when you leave or set it up for AB&B. Switch between places when you get bored. Then sell it if you need to after a number of years. You could have homes all over the world.

This is very upsetting...I donated $125+ to OMAZE for the sprinter Van prize only to find out that a measly 15% actually goes to the charity- a restoration project to rebuild trails. This was a complete waste of my money as I rather would have donated ALL of that straight towards trail restoration. I thought I was doing something good but really was fooled by OMAZE and Eamon and Bec. Very disappointed. Will not be watching your videos or donating to OMAZE again.

Well that's your own fault. They never said all of your donation would go towards trail restoration. And omaze is a company, they need to make money somehow. And they're giving away a van with 60000 dollars worth of adjustments. Use your common sense next time.
